Meet The Artist
I am a Denver based artist with a love for art, music, mountains and pineapples. I live with my boyfriend and our two dogs, Roxy and Remy.
Since I was a child, I have loved art and photography. For years I neglected my creative side and eventually found myself struggling to manage stress and anxiety. I decided it was time to focus on finding a new creative outlet to improve my well-being. Painting was the first thing I tried and I connected with it right away. Starting to create again has helped me to heal and to be more confident.
I chose the name "A Blooming Pineapple" for a couple of reasons. Number one, I absolutely love pineapples! They are so wonderfully bright, strong and sweet. The second reason is that growth is a very important part of my life and I believe that it should be an endless journey. Painting has helped me grow in so many lovely ways and I have no doubt that it will continue to do so. This is a step in my personal growth.
Art has an amazing way of healing, inspiring and connecting people. My goal is to spread positive vibes through art to people around the world.
I hope you enjoy my art! Please feel free to reach out with any questions!
About My Art
My favorite painting style is called "Intuitive Painting," a style that encourages letting go and letting your inner, unbiased creativity flow from a place of freedom. I mostly paint in acrylic paints, but I do enjoy watercolor paints as well. I am inspired by nature, color, shapes, and intuition.
Before I begin to paint, I like to meditate or do a breathing exercise. It helps to calm my mind and to focus on my intentions. My typical painting session consists of music, singing and drinking tea.
