This post is a bit personal, but my hope is that this will tell you more about who I am and explain why I am inspired to create. Maybe it will help to motivate you to take care of yourself or to do whatever it is you’re passionate about.
I struggle everyday with anxiety and depression. I experienced my first panic attack last night... it was terrifying and absolutely exhausting. I feel lucky to have had my boyfriend with me, holding my hand and telling me to breathe.
Throughout the last 6 months, I have started to have extreme amounts of anxiety. It has motivated me to learn more about anxiety and figure out how I can better control it. I have developed a self-care routine that I struggle some days to stay consistent with.
Painting has become my go-to method to let go of anxiety. The colors make me happy and it’s nice to paint whatever comes to mind. It has helped me to understand myself better and to let go of the fear of judgement.
Today, I will just breathe and realize that I will come out on the other side a stronger person.
